Watkins and Travis Elected as Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator
Dr. Andrew Watkins served as the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Technology Transfer at the Agriculture Research Service and Coordinator of the USDA patent program until transferring to the CDC in 2000. He holds a PhD in physiology from the Penn State College of Medicine and a law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center.
Dr. Ramona Travis has served as a technical lead and project manager for NASA, the Topic and Sub Topic manager for the NASA SBIR program, and as Intellectual Property Manager for Stennis. She is currently Chief of the Stennis Innovative Partnership Program Office. She holds a PhD from LSU and B.S. and M.S. degrees from Auburn University.
